About Us
What we do & our goal
The committee creates workshops and events to educate and share seeds, plants and produce to locals.
Working bees are held each season to plant out the garden. The public is encouraged to visit and enjoy the garden, and are only asked to take part of a plant or harvest, leaving the rest of the plant to continue growing. Excess produce is distributed to members of the community via Love in Action, or used in cooking classes and events held at BLLC.
Our goal is to provide and care for a physical place where members of the local community can come together to grow food and flowers each season and to create a network that provides education and information on all things gardening and sustainability; both at the garden and for the broader community.
Bringing the community together
